THE MSAAP COMPLEX Flexible and affordable opportunities are available to commercial companies locating at MSAAP. Opened in 1983, the MSAAP Complex was constructed as the country's newest, most modern Army ammunition plant. MSAAP offers private enterprise an excellent place to do business. With the federal incentive program known as ARMS (Armament Retooling and Manufacturing Support) Initiative, businesses can locate and begin operations with little or no initial capital outlay. The ARMS Initiative provides funding for leasehold improvement with no out of pocket expense for prospective tenants. 
 In addition to opportunities offered through the ARMS program, the region's work force is another incentive offered by the facility to prospective manufacturers, since its members are easily reachable, productive and cost competitive. Within a 50-mile radius of the plant is a labor force in excess of 250,000 with a rich diversity to meet the needs of business and industry. Mississippi is a right-to-work state with a long track record of management/labor cooperation. |
